What this is

Company password manager (Vaultwarden / Bitwarden-compatible). Your vault is encrypted with your master password — admins cannot see it.

What you need

1. A work email (@basketnews.lt or @basketnews.com)
2. An invite from an admin (public signups are closed)
3. A strong master password you will remember (it cannot be recovered if lost)
4. An authenticator app for 2FA (Google Authenticator, 1Password OTP, etc.)

First-time setup (after invite)

1. Open the link in the invite email, or go to:

   https://vault-gbkui.basketnews.com/#/register?email=YOUR@basketnews.lt

2. On Create account: use the exact invited email, choose a strong master password, finish registration.
3. Log in with email + master password.
4. If prompted, accept the organization invitation.
5. Enable two-step login:
   • Settings → Security → Two-step login
   • Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
   • Save backup codes somewhere safe
   The organization requires 2FA before you can use shared vault items.

Everyday login

1. Go to vault-gbkui.basketnews.com
2. Enter email + master password
3. Enter your 2FA code from the authenticator app

Tips

• Prefer the web vault in a browser. Browser extensions and mobile apps also work with the self-hosted URL above.
• Never share your master password.
• If you lose 2FA and backup codes, contact an admin — recovery is limited.
• After invite, if you do not see the organization, log in and accept the pending org invitation (check Members status with an admin if needed).
